Many years ago, a wise man approached me. We spoke about friends.
The difference between true friends and fake friends.
He told me: " Wait until you start to date. You will see what your friends think of you by the guys they set you up with."
In the past two years, I have seen this manifest itself more and more.
And although I am not supposed to take it personally, sometimes seeing who a friend suggests for me simply breaks my heart. Not because the guy is totally inappropriate, but because I realize that I have been entirely misunderstood.
On the bright side, it is heartwarming when a friend sets you up with a great person.
