I remember talking with a friend at a simcha... We didn't see each other in awhile so we stood in the corner of the room catching up over life's lost moments.
The mother of my friend walks over to us and in an angry tone of voice says: "What do you think you're doing? Talking in the corner... You are in shidduchim! You have to walk around, make sure people see you and ask who you are. Make Yourself Seen."
Oh, that Jewish mother...
I had pity on myself and ended the conversation as politely and as soon as I can and I let the friend roam the shmorg alone.
I hope she makes herself seen.
