Top Five Ways of Rejection in Dating

Written from a guys perspective, hope those five ways of rejection enlighten us all to the challenges prevalent in the world of dating.

Disclaimer: all of the following endings to the relationship were non-mutual.

1) Getting Dumped after going out awhile 

(Yes, the water has to be in the bucket to be dumped)

2) Rejection after a few dates


3) Rejection before a first date


I am a fly who is swatted away.

4)  Not even getting rejected before a first date

(doesn't even bother to respond to the Shadchan with an answer)

I am a fly  buzzing in your ear and wasn't even worth the swat.

5) Getting rejected without even agreeing to go out.

(I didn't even agree to go out with someone, however, the shadchan informs you that X isn't interested in you. Excuse me! I never said yes to begin with)

There is no fly, and the other side keeps on swatting at thin air.
