Just as a child grows into adulthood and forgets baby language, so too, single people get married forgetting all about the life of a single.
I was g-chatting last night with a friend of mine who recently got married. We spoke about different things, discussed developments of our mutual friends, the latest news incidents… and then it came…. the big question. What are you searching for in a spouse.
By now I should face it. He is married, therefore, he is in the married camp and will be setting me up. I wonder if he got married so that he would have the license to set anyone up with anyone else.
I was not thrown off. I thought about this question (shocking, right?) and told him in three sentences what I am looking for.
His response was. "Oh that is what you are looking for? There are twenty two million guys like that!"
I was excited. "Really?" I said. "That is amazing because I only need one. Can you set me up."
That was the end of the conversation.
OBVIOUSLY
